Another great Shovelhead Party, but it was a little different this time. It seems, the DJ "Curly" Can't be located and no one can find out what happened to him. I missed him this year. He was always entertaining and sort of kept things going and had good music. I hope he can return, so we don't have to listen to that "German Third Reich" marching music that worked it's way on to Gum's sound system!
The food was great and plenty to go around. Usually after I eat ... there's no more room for beer, But it was good! No T-shirts this year, that was a bummer... Maybe we can get a couple of us to chip in and get some shirts for gums to sell to help pay for some of the cost for this party. No shovelhead trophies this year, so we didn't get to pick the best of the best Shovelheads.... Maybe next year!
This is a great party and it's nice to see all the bikers that you haven't seen for a while. There was even some bikers from Ocala, Florida.
